Hundreds of Serbian-Americans gathered in front of the U.N. on March 2, to protest against Kosovo’s independence which was declared only two weeks before. The demonstration lasted for almost four hours, and wound its way from to Dag Hammerskjold Plaza to the St. Sava Cathedral on W. 26 Street. A number of speakers joined in the rally, including journalist Ramsey Clark, activist John Bosnitch, and Father Djokan Majstorovic, who led the opening prayer.
