to a new year, new life

The apparent lack of updating this has really gotten me in a bind… but I do have some excuse of sorts and the supposed new year’s resolution should be the cause to change it. The last two weeks were spent out on the Navajo/Dine reservation in Arizona for the most part– the story I’ve been working on, on Native American veterans and post-traumatic stress disorder has taken me through a whole journey in itself, in people’s stories, lives, their memories, and what looks ahead. Spiritually it did much, much more than I could write at this hour of the morning/night, and it’ll be saved for some more thought, but here are a few snippets of what I saw and the reflection it gave to me– deliberately left out a lot of photos for editing reasons. Now off on another plane to another continent… happy new year everyone.
